"Dear God," she prayed, "let me be something every minute of every hour of my life. Let me be gay; let me be sad. Let me be cold; let me be warm. Let me be hungry...have too much to eat. Let me be ragged or well dressed. Let me be sincere--be deceitful. Let me be truthful; let me be a liar. Let me be honorable and let me sin. Only let me be something every blessed minute. And when I sleep, let me dream all the time so that not one little piece of living is ever lost."

"Hello Romans!" "I'm a medievalist!"
"Let's dress up and celebrate Rome's birthday!"
WELCOME TO MY LIFE. Or every Monday from 3-6 PM of my life.

"The Last Judgement" (Detail of the Apostles), Pietro Cavallini, 1293, Santa Cecilia in Trastevere, Rome.

One weak thesis & outline down, fourteen and a half more pages to go. Pietro Cavallini isn't so bad, but I'd prefer to be writing about men walking around in bear suits.

FYI: 100 Images of Jesus (You never know when you might need a good picture of Jesus.)

THE END.

Slumber Party Insanity

I can't think of a better way to spend my twenty-third birthday than wearing pajamas, drinking Franzia, eating sugar cookies with strawberry icing, dancing to playlists of Lil Wayne and Tegan and Sara, playing truth or dare, and being completely silly. I don't know if I can top this one.
