I am really ready for Fall. I'm ready for my last semester at LSU.  I'm ready for game days and planning purple and gold outfits. I'm ready for layering and sweaters and boots. I'm ready for boys in blazers. I'm ready for days in the library...reading and writing about art. I'm really ready to be completely absorbed in school. Soon enough.

Super fun night in New Orleans with Nurse Heather and Mama Rachael. "VIP" @ Republic, dancing fools @ Mod Night, Slumber party in the pink room. Highlights include: singing Tegan and Sara to our (one of many) cab driver, Jello shots, a fight between three girls over one slice of pizza in the cab, polar bears for dogs, callin' bryan, pretending to be a taxi driver...the list could go one and on. Love you, ladies!

Today really felt like summer. My nephew, Tillman is in town so I took him swimming and to get a snow cone. 

The child knows all about the iPhone & even asked if I knew what Skype was. Srsly?

All the freckles were out today.

Weekend in NOLA

Visit to Slice Pizzeria on St. Charles in New Orleans. Miss Kellie made me this fabulous Strawberry Sangria and Champagne drink. Oh! And the pizza is superb.

Adrienne is such a good friend, listening so intently to Grant's jokes.

The weekend was pretty super. I wish that I would have taken pictures at the Bacardi Party, but alas, I had one too many mojitos. Anyway, the best part of the party was everyone going insane while answering random trivia for Miley Cyrus books, coffee tables, leather jackets, etc., etc.

That sort of thing can't really be captured anyway.

Now, I am back to the books. Grumble, grumble.
